Bare Acts Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This policy explains how the Bare Acts Android app (com.bareacts.app), published by Akinchan Aggarwal, handles information.

Information the app stores

You don't need an account. The acts are stored in the app. Your bookmarks, last-read position, and text size stay on your device. We don't receive them, and uninstalling the app deletes them.

Advertising

The app shows banner ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process device and usage information, such as your advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and interactions with ads. This information is sent to Google, encrypted in transit. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android device settings.

Information we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location, and we don't sell personal information.

Children

The app is intended for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.

Not a government app

Bare Acts is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any government body. Act text comes from public sources, including India Code. It's for reference only and isn't legal advice. Check the official gazette before relying on it.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
